In order to ensure that the certification is easy for teachers to access, holds them accountable for actively implementing what they have just learnt and provides ongoing support to teachers in a manner that they find most valuable, Teachify’s model combines technology with some of the best practices in teacher training to impart high-quality, accredited training modules to teachers through two stages.
The first stage is need-based in-service support, which focuses on content-based training and assessment methodologies, and can be completed at two levels of proficiency. Tier 1 provides basic training in tested best practices in the classroom, while Tier 2 focuses more on the personal and professional development of the teacher as it pertains to the classroom. The second stage is ongoing, and consists of feedback and performance monitoring through a variety of assessments, regular checking, video recording, observations and a final certification exam.
